Roof Repair/Replacement Updates

The roofing bid results for Oconto Falls Elementary were reviewed by the Board of Education on February 12, 2024 and a final selection was approved.
Work is expected to be done this summer and includes removing existing ballast & rubber roofing, installing additional insulation, upgrading to new TPO roof membrane, and adding new gutters & downspouts.

Roofing solutions were finalized for Oconto Falls Elementary School and and approved for bidding on January 8, 2024. The scope of work includes removing and replacing the entire roof.
Bids are due in by Tuesday, January 30 and work is scheduled to begin in mid-June with a completion date of late-August 2024.

The Abrams Elementary roofing project is now complete and finished under budget. The roofing project for the High School and Oconto Falls Elementary School roof is still scheduled for 2024.

Roofing solutions were finalized for both Abrams Elementary and Oconto Falls High School and approved by the Board of Education on March 13, 2023. Next step is to obtain bids for replacing the gymnasium section of Abrams Elementary School’s roof and obtain pricing for the High School roof repairs. Work is expected to be done this summer, with Oconto Falls Elementary School roofing to follow in the Summer of 2024.
