The secure entrance upgrades are near final completion at Abrams Elementary, Oconto Falls Elementary School and Oconto Falls High School and will be done prior to school resuming. Click Here to see updated photos.

Since school is out for the summer, work on the secure entrance projects at all three schools has begun. As noted in the 5.9 Design Update, the secure entrance projects at Abrams Elementary, Oconto Falls Elementary and High school will be completed this summer. Demolition work is the first step to prepare for electrical and HVAC rough ins (including conduit, wire, duct work). All three buildings will be under construction simultaneously throughout June and July, with work wrapping up in August.

Solutions for enhancing entrance security at our elementary and high school buildings were finalized and approved by the Board of Education on March 13,2023. The projects will go out for bids this spring so work can begin once school is out. Secure entrance projects at all three buildings are expected to be completed this summer.
